The CoCos@MayLaka is billed as a "casual beach bar" with a membership scheme for residents offering priority entry, booking and discounts on food and drinks. As a member of the CoCos Club your asked to be "courteous and welcoming to all other members, irrespective of nationality, race, age or beliefs" and your membership will be reviewed by a membership committee after a 4 month trial period, and after that you must agree to pay a P600 contribution each year if you wish to become a permanent member. MayLaka also has accommodation named as Lodge@MayLaka, described as "exclusive 4star Seaside Boutique Hotel experience" with 4 colourful rooms with unusual features such as mirrors above the bed and windows between the bed and shower.

MayLaka, Hotel, Restaurant, by JP MayLaka on Feb 6, 2016 7:13:01 GMT 8, Hi Alfred,
Thank you for your offer made on biliran.ph for security services. I am not sure when you offer was made, but we have already contracted a professional company to provide 24/7 security services on our property. Already 1 year and 3 months have passed since they started and we are very pleased with the quality of their services, hence no intention at this stage to change.
Regards, JP MayLaka www.maylaka.com

MayLaka, Hotel, Restaurant, by JP Maylaka on Feb 6, 2016 7:27:49 GMT 8, Hi Daniel,
I can't stop noticing the STAR rating you give to Hotels and RESORTS on your website.
Could you elaborate the STAR RATING system you apply to award a rating to an establishment you list on your website? Is it based on documented and verified customer feedback or your own opinion?
The reason I ask is that there seems to be a big disparity between the rating shown on BILIRAN.PH and other websites like TRIPADVISOR (see www.tripadvisor.com.ph/Hotels-g612370-Biliran_Island_Visayas-Hotels.html) or FACEBOOK reviews of these places.
Thanks for clarifying. Best regards from MayLaka

Hi Maylaka,
Sorry, I'm not sure you totally understand the layout and setup of this site. This is run on a forum system so new info or posts are added to the threads by any members, meaning older posts always remain. If you have new information and photos you would like added to this Maylaka thread then I would recommended registering as a member and posting it yourself.
