The hawksbill turtle is internationally recognised as critically endangered, yet construction of concrete walls along the beach on Sambawan Island will surely restrict them nesting in the future.

More Cottages, Buildings and Concrete walls are being built on the beach of Sambawan Island. The same beach that is a nesting site for the critically endangered Hawksbill Turtle.
