Good pm. We are able to communicate with Biliran in these sites:
Higatangan Island - west part of the island facing Cebu. Globe signal is coming from Cebu
Barangay Acaban, Culaba
Certain areas in Barangay Talahid, Almeria.
The signal is best in Higatangan and the other two have intermittent signal.

Gd am Fellow Biliranons. We have coordinated with DSwd Usec Medel to provide food packs and shelter assistance for Biliran. The Biliran Geothermal Company thru Atty. Runar Jonsson and Dra. Cecil Espina is in constant communication and that a Barge paid by the company will be shipping Fifty thousand liters of fuel from Cebu to Naval to assist in the supply of fuel for our gasoline stations and the needs of our LGUs and their company. The food packs , shelter assistance and medicines requested from DSWD and DOH hopefully should also be transported on this barge . I will be in cebu to personally coordinate this transport. I was informed by Mayor Rudy Espina that internet connection is available in the municipal bldg of Kawayan and that people are going to the municipal bldg to get in touch with their relatives thru wifi.

Due to no power and communication line in Naval and whole Province of Biliran, banks are closed so other other fund transfer outlets like Western Union, etc.
From what I saw on my way to Ormoc, Biliran Province is a lot better. No power and communication yet. Food supplies are available but limited. Damage is severe but not as Ormoc, Tacloban and many parts of Samar as reported in TV.
FYI: The road from Naval to Ormoc is passable. There is smart and globe signal with internet connection in Ormoc City proper. No power yet. Some establishments are using generator like where I am now in Pongos Hotel lobby.

I request your help to my wife Amy Jensen of barrio Ungale I so she can email/talk to me. I need help from her on how to coordinate wiring her money find out what her and our family basic subsistence needs are and the needs of St Mary Catholic Center and the people she is serving as an evacuation center. I am trying to raise money to buy a generator for St. Mary's. I do not know if her van is operational or has diesel to go anywhere.
I heard Ormoc has a place open for wiring money but has a P3,000-5,000 limit. This small amount wont buy much for those travelling long distances.
Can you email me bullets on Biliran Province specific recovery needs for outside assistance.
