The Pondol Waterfall is not very big or impressive in itself but the trek through the jungle to get there is amazing.
How do I get there?
The Pondol Falls is in Iyusan Baranagy, part of Almeria Municipality, Biliran Island. The Falls are found deep in the forest so the trek there from the road will take some time and is along an unmade path. The walk there takes you along a tight valley with beautiful palms and a clean fast flowing river that you cross by a bridge to carry on towards the Falls.
What does it cost?
No entry costs, but you might like to pay a local guide to show you the way through the forest to the falls and more local attractions, so its cost will vary and is by negotiation.
